Heritage Stoles began with a simple but powerful idea; that the things we wear during life’s biggest moments should reflect who we truly are.
It all started when our founder noticed how many students were celebrating graduation in attire that had little connection to their roots. Inspired by Ghana’s rich textile heritage and a deep love for culture, they partnered with local weavers in Bonwire, the historic home of Kente cloth. Together, they set out to create something different; stoles that were personal, beautiful, and proudly African.
What began as a one-off stole for a friend quickly turned into a bigger movement. Today, people all over the world trust us to create stoles that help them honor their heritage, tell their story, and celebrate their journey.
Each stole is made with care, woven by hand, and finished with details that mean something. And every time someone wears one, they're not just making a fashion statement; they're carrying a piece of home with them.
